Software Architect (m/f/d)

to strengthen our Product & Innovation location in Großhöflein (Burgenland) with immediate effect for 40 hours per week in the Innovation & Digital Product Development Team. Design and oversee the architecture of our mobile-first digital service landscape, ensuring scalability and integration with a line of smart devices. Play a critical role in shaping the technical direction and ensuring that development aligns with our vision and business goals.

Deine Aufgaben

• Act as the technical point of contact between stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Collaborate with small internal and larger external development teams
• Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate technology stacks that align with our technical and business goals
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including system designs, technical specifications, and integration points
• Provide technical guidance to the development teams, promoting best practices and innovation
• Coordinate with project managers and development teams to deliver features and releases
• Lead improvements to application performance, reliability, and scale
• Participate actively in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
• Conduct architecture reviews to identify and address potential issues

Dein Profil

• 7+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with focus on mobile platforms
• Technical expert with strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of performance testing coding best practices, and load and performance testing
• Skilled in driving various software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, DevOps, DevSecOps) and deployment strategies (e.g., big bang, continuous, blue-green)
• Sound understanding of security and data privacy best practices
• Proven leader in code reviews, experienced in approving key application features, and validating vulnerability fixes
• Proven ability to write functional specifications for applications
• Experience mentoring application engineers
• Strong proficiency with React Native and Flutter, knowledge of multiple programming languages like Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, and Java
• Experience working with IoT platforms and communication technologies such as NFC, Bluetooth, and protocols like MQTT and CoAP
• TOGAF certification or experience following TOGAF standards
• Cloud computing certification (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Proficiency using Jira as an agile project management tool
• Excellent written and spoken German and English

Due to §9 Abs. 2 des Gleichbehandlungsgesetzes we are required to set the minimum wage for this position which will be EUR 3.497,84 gross/month. Nevertheless, we won´t settle for minimum standards - you won´t either!
